AGRUPACIÓN VIRGEN DE FÁTIMA – SADDLEDRUNK (ARGENTINA)

The team of the Asociación Civil Virgen de Fátima (Continental) has a rich history in Vuelta a San Juan. Its victories began in 2005 when Daniel Capella won stage 6. Since then, it has achieved ten stage victories, the most important being the one obtained by Nicolás Tivani in the sixth stage of the 2019 edition. In addition, the team led by Daniel Castro got two victories from the general classification. In 2008, they did it with the help of Pedro González and five years later, Daniel Zamora followed the lead. In Vuelta a San Juan with UCI points, this team has always been a protagonist, winning the alternate maillots and always looking for victories in the different stages. What’s more, during 2017 it won the maillot for the best Argentine rider with Ricardo Escuela as the main star, and in 2019 this win was repeated by Nicolás Tivani.
