The representatives of the UCI Pro Tour category did not have much exhaustion in the last stage where everyone was certain that the competition reached its last chapter, already defined, which -finally- was corroborated after a seventh chapter without major incidents.

In the initial break, shortly after entering the second lap, the Belgian Jens Reynders (Israel Premier Tech) stood out but he could not keep up with the pace of his teammates in the lead and after a few kilometers he slowed down until he was neutralized by the peloton .

In the definition, the best Pro Tour was the Italian Attilio Viviani (Team Corratec) in 6th place; one place behind came his compatriot Giovanni Lonardi (Eolo Kometa Cycling Team); 8th was Peter Sagan (Total Energies), while Enrico Zanoncello (Green Project Bardiani –CSF- Faizané) finished tenth in the partial.

The end of the 39th edition of the Vuelta a San Juan found the best Pro Tour overall in 9th place with Matthew Riccitello (Israel Premier Tech); 12th Nicolás Tivani (Team Corratec); 15th Steff Crass (Total Energies); 19th Marco Frigo (Israel Premier Tech) in the top 20.
