BORA – HANSGROHE (GERMANY)

The German machine has been an example of steady growth over the past decade. It started as a Continental team and today, BORA – hansgrohe is a World Tour team. This will be the fourth participation of BORA on San Juan soil. The first three visits were between 2018 and 2020. The next one will be special because they won’t have Slovak Peter Sagan in their squad. However, in their own way, the Germans always put up a fight for the top places. They have tried several times, and Sam Bennet gave them joy at Vuelta a San Juan. Currently, it ranks fifth among the 2021’s most winning teams. It has celebrated 30 victories at the moment, and has been on the podium 74 times, which makes a promising outlook for the run-up to the 39th Vuelta. The 2022 season indicates that Maximilian Schachmann, Pascal Ackermann and Wilco Kelderman will be its main stars.
