DECEUNINCK – QUICK STEP (BELGIUM)

Since Vuelta a San Juan joined the UCI international calendar (in 2017), Deceuninck – Quick Step, Belgian squad (World Tour), has participated in all the editions. In fact, it will be one of the teams that will make the list planned for the 2022 edition more exciting. The squad’s participation in San Juan, where everything begins, is always amazing. From 2017 up to date, this team won eleven stages and one individual classification. It has always arrived in Argentina with a competitive bunch that guarantees the show on the roads. In the international calendar, the team, whose manager is Patrick Lefevere, was once more the one that won the most victories in the season. It is a record that sets it apart from the rest, at least since 2013. In 2021, the squad comfortably leads the standings with 65 wins. While in San Juan, the local public has been able to enjoy its cyclists, such as the Argentine Maximiliano Richeze, Fernando Gaviria, Tom Boonen, Julian Alaphilippe, or the reigning champion, Remco Evenepoel.
