To our dear family of  Vuelta a San Juan we announce that the second team that will be part of the next edition has been confirmed. With great joy and affection we will welcome TotalEnergies from France!

Less than 80 days separate us so that we can enjoy a new date in San Juan, where everything begins. This French team is going to arrive in the country for the first time and is going to  debut in our Vuelta.

Their leader on San Juan soil will be their best ambassador: Peter Sagan (32). The three-time road world champion will return to the province where everyone loves him and waits for him season after season.

The Slovakian, current national road champion in his country, is going to have his third participation in the best cycling competition in Argentina. Sagan rode 14 stages of the Vuelta and was top-ten ten times. Peter is coming to San Juan to win!

Regarding his team, it stands out that TotalEnergies is the third best Continental Professional team in the ranking of the International Cycling Union. The best of the second world division.

During 2022, the French managed 15 wins. They made the podium at Milano-San Remo with Anthony Turgis (2nd) and at Gent-Wevelgem in Flanders with Dries Van Gestel (3rd); In addition, they won stages in the Tour of Switzerland and the Critérium du Dauphiné, all UCI World Tour races.
