Paracyclists from all over Argentina came to where it all begins! to be part of this party | Photography: Return to San Juan.
A very special day for the whole family of Latin American cycling. Because this Thursday at the Villicum Circuit in San Juan, the city where it all begins!, the fourth edition of the Inclusive Tour was held.
It is the only race in America, and one of the few in the world, exclusively dedicated to people with disabilities.
The sporting event gave rise to competitive categories: tandem, handbike, tricycle and individual; and also participative ones, such as bicycles, tricycles, handbikes, bicycles, and tandems. There were 37 cyclists in the competitive ones and 115 in the participatory ones, with a total of 152 registered. What a luxury squad!
Each paracyclist provided the true warmth that was needed for the race to be lived as a great celebration of cycling and sport. We were pleased to receive participants from San Juan and from other Argentine provinces.
Under the radiant afternoon at Villicum, each category was competing within the circuit (4,266 meters long). After the races and the podiums, the participants even had the luxury of sharing a chat and photos with some luxury guests.
Peter Sagan, on his 33rd birthday, along with Fernando Gaviria, Elia Viviani, Daniel Oss, Giacomo Nizzolo and Maximiliano Richeze were present at the Inclusive Tour, in addition to the traditional meeting with the main sponsors of the Tour of San Juan.
