The Chilean team was the best in the Vuelta a San Juan

The Chilean team won the Vuelta a San Juan, after the seventh and final stage was held on Avenida de Circunvalación. The red team had no problem keeping the leadership they had reached on the day of the queen stage.

With an accumulated time of 78h15m02s, the team led by Sergio Fabián Gili led the Argentinian team, which finished 37m40 off the lead, while the Azzurri cyclists from Italy were third, with 79h16m37s, 1h135s behind. The fourth and last place among teams was occupied by Uruguay with 79h34m09, being the Uruguayan team also the last team in the Vuelta in the general classification.

Outstanding performance by the Chilean Vicente Rojas, who ranked 16th in the general classification of the race. He was followed by Uruguayan Antonio Fagundez in 50th place; Mario Monlo, from Italy 86th; Maximiliano Richeze (Argentina) 95th for mentioning the best of each team in the final classifier.
