The city where everything begins! will open its doors wide to Trek – Segafredo from the United States to participate in the Vuelta a San Juan 2023, from January 22 to 29.

The American team, from the UCI World Teams (WT) category, will return to Argentina for the third time (the previous ones in 2017 and 2018). His intention will be to achieve victory in the general classification and recover the great trophy. We still remember the triumph of Bauke Mollema on Avenida Circunvalación in the 2017 season.

The roster of the North American squad will be confirmed in the upcoming weeks. But in its squad has very important cyclists. Currently, the team is ranked 12th in the UCI ranking.

During 2022, the Trek – Segafredo had 19 victories, including several national championships. The highlights were the stages Mads Pedersen won between the Vuelta a España and the Tour de France; the triumph of Mattias Skjelmose in the Tour of Luxembourg or current road champions such as Alexander Kampo (Denmark), Emils Liepins (Latvia) or Mollema himself in the Netherlands.
