Those who make up this category within the Vuelta a San Juan, have an important role that they once again revealed in the second stage, similar to what was demonstrated in the first.

Among the outstanding Continentals, Gerardo Tivani from San Juan was one of the twelve brave men who, shortly after starting, in Valle Fértil, came out to put important differences, assuring that they would be candidates to win the Sprint or Mountain finish line. Thus, the representative of the AV Fátima-San Juan Biker-Electro3 team was left with the two Sprints, going on to lead the general of Flying Goals.

Highlight the work carried out by the aforementioned Gerardo Tivani (AV Fátima-San Juan Biker- Electro3), Nixon Rosero (Team Banco Guayaquil), Alex Strah (Panama is Culture and Values), José Reyes (Pocito Municipality), Wladimir Martínez (AV Fátima -San Juan Biker- Electro3), Leandro Messineo (Chimbas Te Quiero) and Oscar Sevilla (Team Medellín).

Overall, after two stages, the best Continental is the Ecuadorian Cristian Pita, from Team Banco Guayaquil, in 19th place; 21st is the Colombian Miguel Ángel López, from Team Medellín; 22nd is the Portuguese Carlos Salgueiro from AP HOTELS & RESORT – TAVIRA; Steven Haro, the Ecuadorian who runs for Team Banco Guayaquil is 24th, completing the top five with Panamanian Bredio Ruiz, occupying 28th place in the general classification after two stages.

This Tuesday, January 23, the third stage will be held, starting and finishing at the San Juan Villicum Circuit, touring the streets of Chimbas, 25 de Mayo, San Martín, Angaco and Albardón. The time of the neutralized start will be at 15:26 and ten minutes after the actual departure, to cover 170.9 km.
