Within a month, in San Juan there will be half a dozen San Juan cycling teams that will have the desire to give triumphs to the fans. One of those groups is going to be Agrupación Virgen de Fátima.
Virgen de Fátima has been participating and competing in Vuelta a San Juan for more than 15 years. In fact, it was able to win ten stages of the Vuelta and the general in 2008 with Pedro Gonzáles and in 2013 with Daniel Zamora.
The team has continental category (CT) and it is one of the teams that has achieved the most victories in Argentina in recent years. In fact, it is part of the top-ten ranking of South American continentals according to the UCI.
Its maximum reference in the 39th edition (from January 22 to 29, 2023) will be Gerardo Tivani (31). He joined the team in mid-2021 and had the responsibility of leading the team from his brother Nicolás.
